Meet Donna Smith from Shenandoah, Virginia.

Hi. One of my favorite songs by America has always been I Need You. I also knew they sang You Can Do Magic, Horse With No Name and Ventura Highway. Just this past summer ('99), I went to another concert in which America opened. Boy, was I ever so glad that I did!!! I only wished I had gotten to meet them. I don't know if they stayed to meet their fans or not since they performed first. Most of the songs they sang, I had heard on the radio and over the years was always finding myself singing them, but didn't know the name of the songs or who sang them. NOW I KNOW!!! I immediately went out after that concert and bought America's Greatest Hits History CD, and play it almost daily now. I also didn't know that they came out with Muskrat Love before Captain and Tenille, and America does that song SO much better!!!!!! Besides I Need You, I also love Sister Golden Hair and Daisy Jane, both very beautiful songs!!! Guess you can tell I love the romantic ballads best (LOL). I see that there are MANY sound clips of other America songs on this website, and I intend to listen to each one to find out if they too, are also songs that I've heard and didn't know it was them. Here's to many more years of great America music!!!
