Meet Rick Simpson from Pekin,Illinois.

Thanks for such good concerts over the years. I try to see the guys every year. I'm glad I found this information on the Internet, especially the concert information. Those high school pictures of the guys are great! I got to see them last summer at Wheaton, Illinois. I got a friendly greeting from Gerry and Willie backstage. That was the biggest thrill! Gerry was so polite and down to earth. I really appreciated the opportunity to get an autograph from the guys and to meet them for the first time. Good luck and have a great touring year.

My first concert was at the Illinois state fair in 1974 when Dan was still with the group. I've seen them at various fairs throughout the years and enjoyed every show. I also saw them in 1995 when they were touring with the Beach Boys. Gerry's son came out for a little playing time. That was real cool, too.
