Dan Peek Archives: April 1980

April 1980

Dear Friends:

Can you believe it's April already? Spring is such a glorious time of year. Hope you all are enjoying it.

It is also a really hectic time of year for me; therefore, I hope some of you will forgive me for not having responded to your letters but, Lord willing, I shall in the not-too-distant future. I hope you will consider these newsletters as my personal reply for the time being. The problem is this, if you can call anything so wonderful a problem. I have been receiving so many letters from new writers that I have concentrated on replying personally to them first.

However, if I can attempt to answer some of the questions I have received recently. Hopefully, an "All Things Are Possible" songbook will be completed in the near future. Also, I have just begun work on a new album, but it could be several months before it is released, so please bear with me. Lord willing, April 29th Catherine and I will be participating in the "Washington for Jesus" march taking place in Washington, D.C. I believe that the revival is here and please join with me in prayer for our country.

Finally, I would like to share some exciting news with you regarding one of the members of AMERICA's band. At this time I don't feel led to share the person's name; however, it is not Dewey or Gerry, but one of the other fellows in the band who recently accepted Christ as his Savior backstage at Disneyland where I was in concert. Praise the Lord, the revival is here and our prayers are being answered.

"Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee." (Psalms 85:6)
"For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived." (Romans 14:9)

The following is my itinerary for the month of May:

With God, All Things Are Possible,

DAN PEEK
