Get in my car and I go for a drive
Turn on the radio
I don't think much of all the junk I hear
I'm just going down the ocean road
Too blue, lighten load
But I'm watching it all implode

Woman look at me now
I'm doing better on my own somehow
Woman I'm chasing a light in the sky
Woman can't you see
This way is better for both you and me
Woman I'm chasing the dark from the night

Sad hearts in a broken drawer
Two lives not much more
Okay, well baby take a look at me now
It's just an open book of sketches true
The pages blurred for me and you
It tells a story of all that we could not do

Woman look at me now
I'm doing better on my own somehow
Woman I'm chasing a light in the sky
Woman can't you see
This way is better for both you and me
Woman I'm chasing the dark from the night

Woman look at me now
I'm doing better on my own somehow
Woman I'm chasing a light in the sky
Woman can't you see
This way is better for both you and me
Woman I'm chasing the dark from the night

Woman look at me now
I'm doing better on my own somehow
Woman I'm chasing a light in the sky
